Why Share the Word of God?
Sharing the Word of God—also called evangelism or witnessing—is a central part of the Christian life. It’s not just a duty; it’s a response to love, truth, and the transforming power of Jesus. Here are the key reasons why Christians are called to share God’s Word:
1. It’s an Act of Love
“Love your neighbor as yourself.” —Mark 12:31
If we truly love others, we want what’s best for them. The greatest gift you can offer someone is the truth of God’s love and salvation.
2. It Strengthens Your Own Faith
“I pray that your partnership with us in the faith may be effective in deepening your understanding of every good thing…” —Philemon 1:6
